How much does an aerobic septic system cost in Kaufman County?
A full aerobic install with permitting typically runs $7,000 to $10,000 depending on the site. Our real completed projects have landed around $8,000 start to finish. Every property gets a free on-site estimate before any numbers are committed.
How fast can you get out to my property?
In most cases the next day, and same-week at worst. Response speed is the difference between us and other companies — when a septic system is alarming, it can't wait.
How long does installation take from quote to final inspection?
Once the site is evaluated, permitted, and designed, most residential systems are installed in a matter of days. The county schedule for final inspection is the main variable.
Do I really need a maintenance contract in Texas?
Yes. Texas law requires every aerobic treatment unit to be under a contract with a licensed maintenance provider. Aztec is TCEQ-licensed and handles the inspections, testing, and county reporting for you.
How often does an aerobic system need to be inspected?
The TCEQ requires an inspection at least three times a year for a standard aerobic system. We schedule and perform those and file the reports so you stay compliant without thinking about it.
What does it mean when my septic alarm goes off?
It means the system is telling you something needs attention — a pump, aerator, high water level, or power loss. Don't ignore it. Call us and we'll talk you through it and get a tech out fast.
Do you handle the county permits and inspections?
We do it all. We pull the permits, run the design through Kaufman County, and meet the inspector ourselves. You never have to chase paperwork.
Aerobic or conventional — which do I need?
It depends on your soil, lot, and daily flow. If the ground percolates well, a conventional gravity system is often the simpler, lower-cost choice. On heavy East Texas clay, an aerobic system is usually the answer. We'll tell you honestly which way the engineering points.
